University Entrance
Our students will be given every help in applying for courses in Higher Education. We can guide them in their choice of courses, in completing their UCAS application forms and in preparing for interviews. Mock interviews can be arranged, to help students overcome nervousness, articulate their ideas and present themselves as well as possible. Afterwards, a constructive critique on their performance is given, with suggestions about pitfalls they should avoid and strengths on which they can build. Students from many other schools, too, come to us for help of this kind. More and more universities, including Cambridge, require students to sit entrance exams in addition to their A-levels. We can provide help with these as well.
Oxford & Cambridge Entrance
Westminster Tutors has been preparing students for Oxford and Cambridge Entrance for over 70 years, with outstanding success. Many of our tutors have degrees from Oxford and Cambridge, and we can give students a great deal of expert information on all aspects of these universities. We guide them in choosing the most suitable college, and we give advice and practice for interviews (see above). Useful suggestions for reading and preparatory work can also be given where appropriate.
