Westminster Tutors provides tuition for the GCSE in a wide range of subjects. Full courses can be taken over one or two years, though two is more usual. Some students may choose to take or retake a few GCSEs whilst studying for their A-levels.
What is a GCSE?
GCSE stands for the General Certificate of Secondary Education, with examinations usually taken at the age of sixteen by the vast majority of students in England. It covers a wide range of subjects and universities usually expect an applicant to have high grades in at least five of these. On completing their GCSEs, student who wish to go to university will invariably go on to study A-levels (AS and A2).
